This particular role is for an inspired leader.  You will be responsible for the team cohesiveness, understanding, accuracy, and execution of our beverage program - which  spans from seriously good espresso beverages, to bone broth, to elixirs and tinctures, to artisan cocktails and biodynamic/organic international wines.  

Technically, you must be efficient, deliberate and proactive.  You have experience as a barista and a bartender. You will have experience with bar manager systems including, inventory control and accuracy, menu rollout and ingredient sourcing.  You will also feel most comfortable leading a team.

Creatively, you have a passion for health and wellness - and and understanding of both sourcing and creating nutrient rich ingredients.   You will have a developed and keen pallet to spearhead seasonal beverage development of both our alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.

On-Going Responsibilities Include:

  • Spearhead  the Botanical Bar Cocktail List and the Thirst Menu

  • Lead the F&B team in all aspects of the department to ensure service standards are followed

  • Offer presence on the floor during service

  • Lead training and development of beverage team

  • Ensure brand beverage recipes are prepared throughout team accuracy

  • Ensure team is following F & B safety and sanitation policies

  • Collaborate with Sommelier, Chef & Creative team

  • Continuously develop systems to ensure efficiency

  • Interact with our guests offering a calm presence

  • Maintain an organized work space

  • Maintain inventory and report monthly  to accounts manager

  • Assist in managing the department budgets and costing

  • Follow policies and procedures with a high attention to detail

  • Ensure immaculate cleanliness of bar

  • Follow and sign off on checklists procedures

  • Take pride in maintaining a positive, solutions based attitude

  • Support the team environment by viewing each service with a holistic eye

  • Communicate all beverage program product & service information to service team

  • Perform audits


Employment Requirements:

  • 2 years in a bar leadership position

  • Experience developing a beverage program

  • Worked in hospitality industry for at least 7 years

  • Have a  portfolio that showcases values for health and wellness

  • Have an in depth understanding of wine and spirits

  • Ability to work with numbers/excel program

  • Serving it Right Certificate

  • 85% pass on written beverage testing

  • 85% pass on technical testing
