Eating – it’s something we do every day, multiple times a day. It can be joyful, or at times almost feel like a chore, but more often than not, it can be a mindless task, simply filling the void of hunger. Many of us don’t think about where the food we’re eating came from, and how it’s affecting our bodies. This has the potential to cause serious damage to our individual health, and even the health of our planet. On the other hand, conscientious and mindful eating has the potential to elevate our bodies, minds, and spirits, facilitating better energy balance, mental clarity, and even digestive wellbeing! Moreover, maintaining a mindful approach to food can heal our planet, and strengthen our communities.

But what exactly is “mindful eating”, and how can it benefit you?

Join the Nourish family as we welcome back the amazing Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and chef Ellie Shortt  to explore what mindful eating is and how you can implement this important practice into your life. There will be bevvies and bites, a culinary demonstration, and a space for your food and health questions to be answered.

Outline of the evening

5:45pm: Doors open {workshop takes place upstairs at Nourish}, chance to mingle and find seats, self serve bone broth bar

6:00pm: Welcome & lecture (with bites & sips and a recipe demo)

7:00pm: Questions & interactive discussion

7:30pm: Wrap up
