When Sarah Marie of Dainty Dokuro reached out to us with an idea to host a gallery style evening showcasing local handcrafts we jumped at the opportunity. The line up of artisans highlighted extremely talented people from our city, and we were so excited to be a part of the collaboration.
The evening was set up on the second floor of Nourish. Both the Parlour and the Study bustling with enthusiasm. We wanted to have a casual feel to the evening, with the focus on meeting the artisans and admiring their work. A little wine bar tucked at the top of the stairs made it easier to loosen up and for the space to transform into a celebratory exhibit of visual arts.
That night, as we put the rooms back to their original forms, we chatted about when we could do another. No need to change a thing, just make it happen again. It was perfect.
We've selected November 22, 2016 as the date. Open doors with everyone welcome in between 6pm - 9pm and will feature:
From the West Coast
Moss and Stone
Bee's and Bones
Flore Botanical Alchemy
We will be missing a couple of the original artists at this coming Artisan Collection, but we will also be have a few new creatives join - two, in fact, from our team here at Nourish - Lorelei Roberts (wall art) and Amanda Marie Paddock (ceramic).
No tickets necessary. Share the Facebook event with your friends!
